Caleb from Blood by ShroomArts Caleb from Blood by ShroomArts
Caleb, the main protagonist from Blood (1997) Too stubborn to quit, too stupid to die. This guy wakes up in a grave with a pitchfork in his hand and kills anyone who crosses his path. Strange fellow.

Dat grin tho! I know I'd have a grin like that if I had a double barrel shotgun!
Never heard of Blood, but I think I would have loved it as a kid haha

probably coz it was one of the underrated ones in its time. there was also blood 2 but i guess it got bogged by the large amount of fps games released during the early 2000s fps craze

As much as I love the new Shadow Warrior reboot, Blood would be even more awesome!

Funny thing is I was thinking about drawing shadow warrior or blood. Went with caleb but lo wang is on my to do list.

Havent played the sw reboot yet but a blood remake would be pretty cool

A couple of years ago Monolith Productions CEO Jason Hall had plans to make a reboot from Blood since recently we have a revival of the classic fps like Wolfenstein The New Order, Doom 4, Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem Forever (ok this last one was a shitty game but at least it had a new game) but Atari (the owner of Blood copyrights back then) refused the idea of making a new game, hopefully Warner Brothers Games make change their minds since they now owns Monolith and Atari.

not sure if there is enough interest in another blood to put it on top of WB's todo list as it wasnt such popular to start with. its fans were divided after blood2 (i thought it was an ok B class action flick. but many thought it was a charade compared to the first) and i dont think any of the new generation gamers know what it is to create a demand for a reboot. While a reboot is usually hit or mostly miss i find this too much of a risk for WB to mess while they have other cash cow titles to milk.

maaaaybe if the monolith crew still existed, that may have been successful reboot?

The reboot is pretty good, not nearly as good as the original, but playable.

most reboots are all about pretty visuals lacking the fun I had with their old versions. Chocolate bars with shitty taste hidden in good wrappings. Of course there are exceptions but its always risky

Yep. I found new Shadow Warrior's combat really lacking compared to the original, can't really bother to beat it a second time.

I'm very hopeful for the second one, the gunplay seems to be much more viable and meaty compared to first ones peashooters.
